In 2016 F2i invested in KOS, a leading healthcare group in Italy that operates in the sector of nursing homes for the elderly, rehabilitation and advanced technology applied to medicine, with over 13,000 beds in 160 facilities (9,095 beds in 105 facilities in Italy and 4,428 beds in about 58 structures in Germany).
F2i's commitment in the health and social care facilities sector expanded with the creation of the Farmacie Italiane group in 2018.
Thanks to continuous acquisitions, one of the main networks of pharmacies and parapharmacies in Italy was created, currently with over 60 points of sale, to be closer to the needs of citizens.

In 2022 F2i has acquired Althea, Italy’s leading private provider of integrated biomedical infrastructure management services for public and private hospitals. Althea Group is a technology partner to more than 230 public and private hospitals in Italy.
With F2i’s support, the group aims to play a leading role in modernizing the technology of the biomedical infrastructure of the Italian healthcare system.
Moreover, Althea Group, works abroad in Other European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland), in America (USA), in Asia (India) and in Oceania (Australia and New Zealand).
