Well-known businessman and top manager, he has worked with F2i since its establishment in January 2007.
His previous roles were: Chief Executive Officer of Autostrade (today Atlantia), one of the leading European construction and motorway toll management companies; deputy chairman of 21 Investimenti, the Benetton family’s private equity fund; Chief Executive Officer of Sip (today Telecom Italia), where one of his main achievements was the development of mobile telephony in Italy, later taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer of Tim Telecom Italia Mobile.
From 1984 to 1991 he was chairman and chief executive officer of several companies of ENI group, the main Italian integrated multinational group within the oil & gas sector.
He started his career in the corporate finance sector, working out M&A, start-up, restructuring and privatization transactions, initially at IMI (Istituto Mobiliare Italiano) and than at GEPI (Società per le Gestioni e Partecipazioni Industriali).
He is chairman of the Amici della Speranza Association, an NPO in support of the haematology ward of San Giovanni Hospital in Rome.
