Iren Acqua
Iren Acqua manages the integrated water service for around 40 municipalities in the Genoa area, supplying water to approximately 760,000 inhabitants.
The Company's aqueducts annually introduce about 70 million cubic meters of drinking water into the network of Genoa and the hinterland municipalities, through a distribution network of 2,725 km.
The company manages 5 large drinking water treatment plants with a state-of-the-art treatment chain in the sector.
The sewer pipes managed by Iren Acqua have a total length of 1.732 km. The reference area is equipped with 45 lifting systems. 38 purifiers and 206 Imhoff or septic tanks operate within the Iren Acqua area.
