GESAC has been managing the Campania airport system since 1980. Naples airport is a strategic airport hub for central and southern Italy with a high tourist vocation. Naples is the fourth airport in Italy in terms of number of passengers after Rome, Milan Malpensa and Bergamo. The opening of Salerno airport, inaugurated in July 2024, will make it possible to synergistically manage additional tourist flows and meet the needs of a wider catchment area.
