IRIDEOS

During the investment period, IRIDEOS, an Italian ICT hub dedicated to companies and the Public Administration, aggregated and consolidated the assets and skills of six Italian operators focused on business customers: Infracom, KPNQWest Italia, MC-link, Enter, Clouditalia and BiG TLC.

IRIDEOS created ICT infrastructures to support the development and competitiveness of companies, through enabling solutions that combine cloud, data centers, fiber optics, security and innovation.

The solutions were based on a technological platform that integrated 16 data centers in Milan, Rome, Trento and Verona, 3 multicloud platforms, the largest private Italian Internet Exchange (Avalon) and a fiber optic network of over 30,000 km along the highways and along the Adriatic backbone and over 2,700 fiber access points.
