Long-term demographic trends in Europe are driving a sharp increase in demand for healthcare, increasing the need for investment in healthcare facilities. EU citizens have some of the longest life expectancy at birth.
These trends are placing an increasing burden on the European healthcare system, which will see an increasing presence of private providers. In 2024, IDF1 provided funding in France and Italy, the resources of which will allow companies to play a complementary synergistic role with respect to the offer of public facilities of the national health service, also with the aim of increasing the offer of services in the most peripheral regions.
