Bernard Spitz

Bernard Spitz is a Senior Advisor of F2i.

Over the course of a career spanning both the public and private sectors, he has held senior executive roles in insurance, media, and telecommunications, including at Canal+ and Vivendi Universal. A key architect and former CEO of the French Insurance Federation (FFA), he also chaired the Europe and International Commission of MEDEF, representing French business at the B7 and B20 summits.

From 1988 to 1992, he served as Special Advisor to Prime Minister Michel Rocard, with a broad mandate covering economic reform, state modernization, and diplomatic outreach to Eastern Europe. He is the founder and CEO of BSConseil, a strategic advisory firm that supports leading French and international corporations in high-stakes transactions across multiple industrial sectors.

An alumnus of Sciences Po, ESSEC, and the École nationale d’administration (ENA), Bernard Spitz serves on several corporate boards, including Air France, and presides over the influential French think tank Les Gracques.

He has been recognized with France’s highest honors, including Commander of the Légion d’Honneur, and is also a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
