Gianluca Gustani
Chief Investment Officer Debt
Gianluca Gustani has been Chief Investment Officer Debt and Senior Partner of the Debt Investment Area since 2020.
He has 20 years of experience in the origination, structuring, advisory and portfolio management of infrastructure financing for leading European and Italian financial institutions. He closed over 65 financing transactions in the energy, renewables, digital infra, transport, utilities, PPP and social infrastructure sectors for a total value of approximately €60 billion. At F2i, he developed the Infrastructure Debt investment strategy and the set-up of the new Debt Investment Area.
Prior to joining F2i, he was Head of Infrastructure at CDP, with responsibility for debt products, coverage of companies and infrastructure funds and advisory to the public administration for the launch of PPP projects. He worked for BNP Paribas as Head of Infrastructure Italy, and had professional experience in the project finance team of UniCredit, in the Finance and Business Development team of Veolia Water and in the structured finance and advisory team of Dexia Crediop.
He graduated with honors in Economics from the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome.
He has held board member roles at asset managers of infrastructure funds in Italy and abroad.
