Today F2i controls the first independent operator in Italy in the management of Radio and TV infrastructures, with over 2,200 broadcasting towers, and the first independent operator in the management of digital multiplexes.

With the entry into the shareholding structure of the main operator in the national fixed network in July 2024, F2i has become one of the promoters of the country's digitization process. The project to rapidly replace the fixed copper network with the fibre network is of great strategic and industrial value for the country.

F2i's expertise in the telecommunications sector dates back to the early years of activity, which acquired the first Italian fibre optic operator, which was then sold to a major industrial buyer, and created, through subsequent aggregations, the first Italian IT and telecommunications hub dedicated to business customers, which was also successfully sold.
